In my perception, Photography is a fragment of a story. A captured moment that has a past and a future. The image is what I choose to exhibit from this unexisting world that can be painted only by imagination.
My themes are separated from time or place, they do not relay on reality but escape from it. I’m looking for the legendary and magical, and yet, reality breaks in. The everyday life integrates itself into the fantasy world and appends feelings of alienation and solitude.
I make up a story, imagine it and give it life, for that photography is my main instrument; however I incorporate other digital media to reach the vision I have in mind.
In my work I use modern tools to create images that are based on ideals from the classic painting and photography.
